The fine print.

What about…

Stuff happens. We understand. Here are our guidelines for a few sticky issues. Something else come up? Send us a note and we’ll get back to you right away and work out a solution.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made before 45 days of scheduled event date will result in a refund of the ticket price, less a $250 cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 45 days of scheduled event date will result in forfeiture of the entire ticket price, unless we can fill the vacated space. If we can fill the vacated space with another attendee, then the deposit will be refunded, less the fee.

Winter Storms

Should a storm system move into Grand County, Colorado or Okanogan County, Washington within the timeframe of Sisu Ski Retreat, please plan to arrive to the area early if you would still like to participate in the retreat. It is your responsibility to travel safely to and from Sisu Ski Retreat. Should a severe winter storm (as indicated by the weather service) fall at the time of our event, we will be in close communication with attendees about options at that time.

What if there’s no snow?

We try to make every aspect of Sisu Ski Retreat perfect, but there’s one thing we can’t control: the weather! We have planned both Colorado and Washington weekends around peak snowpack in the given area. That said, it is possible we could encounter sub-ideal coverage. Should this happen, we will do our best with what we have and continue to enjoy the other aspects of the retreat.

COVID-19

We have operated four sold-out events during the pandemic era. We do not require proof of vaccination to attend Sisu Ski Retreat. Our goal is to make everyone feel as welcome and as comfortable as possible while retaining the freedom to make individual choices about what's best for your body, while being respectful of the group as a whole. If you test positive for COVID (or come down with another bug) within the week before Sisu, please contact us and we will work out a partial refund.
